Pamela Freeman
Pamela is an award-winning author of fantasy for both children and adults. Her best known books, Victor’s Quest and Victor’s Challenge, are set in the same world as the Princess Betony books. She has written lots of other kinds of books, too: the full list is on pamelafreemanbooks.com.
Princess Betony was one of the first characters Pamela ever wrote about, in a story for the NSW School Magazine. She is very excited to see Betony back in such beautiful new books!
Pamela lives in Sydney with her husband and their school-aged son. She doesn’t have any pets because dogs and cats make her sneeze – but she’s pretty sure that a unicorn wouldn’t!
Tamsin Ainslie
Tamsin Ainslie was born and educated in the UK and now lives in Murwillumbah, Northern NSW, with her partner John and daughters Olympia and Matilda. She works from her home based studio where she spends most of her time illustrating children's books, designing book covers, drawing and printmaking. Her work can be seen in books and magazines for adults and children, on book covers, stationery, greeting cards, posters, promotional material and in advertising.
